Owls Open Season at ESU; Baeza Begins Collegiate Career with Back-to-Back Wins

East Stroudsburg, PA – The Owls packed up and headed to the Pocono Mountains this last weekend, where they took flight into their Second Season under Head Coach Alex Rinaldi and Assistant Coach John Rinaldi, competing at the East Stroudsburg Open on Sunday, November 2, 2024.

 

UCNJ took a top 10 finish on the day, placing above conference foes Bergen CC and Sussex CC.

 

Freshman, Joshua Baeza (141), began his collegiate career in a big way, picking up back-to-back wins to open the tournament, and finishing the day with a record of 3-2.

 

Additionally, newcomers Salvatore Randazzo (133), Braulio Villafana Jr. (141), and Chris Gomez (174), all earned their first win as college athletes.
