Vineland, NJ - The Owls continue to soar, and leading the way is freshman #31 Hellary DeLosSantos. On Monday, December 9th, the Owls hosted Chesapeake College. De Los Santos delivered a commanding double-double, scoring 15 points and pulling down 14 rebounds, contributing to Union's dominant 108-57 victory.
The team carried that momentum into the weekend as they competed in the CCBC-Essex Mixer. On Saturday, December 14th, Union faced Bryant & Stratton College (VA). De Los Santos rose to the occasion, showcasing her scoring prowess with a game-high 34 points and adding 13 rebounds. The Owls secured a hard-fought 88-73 win.
On Sunday, December 15th, Union capped off the weekend against Prince George's Community College. De Los Santos once again displayed her versatility, finishing with an all-around performance of 21 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals, helping the Owls cruise to an 86-60 victory, completing a 3-0 week.
For the week, Hellary averaged 23points, 14 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal per game while shooting an impressive 57% from the field.
