Destiny Bynum-Johnson Earns Second GSAC DII Women's Basketball POTW

Cranford, NJ - UCNJ Women's Basketball standout Destiny Bynum Johnson has been named the Garden State Athletcs Conference (GSAC) Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Week following an electrifying performance on the road against Lackawanna College.

In the Owls' only game this week, Bynum Johnson came tantalizingly close to a quadruple-double, tallying 21 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, and 9 steals, along with a block, to lead the Owls to a decisive 97-48 victory over Lackawanna College. The win propelled the undefeated Owls to an impressive 8-0 record on the season.

UCNJ Women's Basketball will look to continue their winning streak when they return home to face Salem Community College on Tuesday, December 2nd, with tip-off set for 5:00 PM.
