CRANFORD, NJ - The Union Owls defeated the Lackawanna Falcons 73-42 to claim the Region 19 Championship. Union County's Brianna Mills was named tournament MVP, while Owls Head Coach Marbely Montas was named Coach of the Year. With the victory Union advances to the East B District Championship game on Saturday, April 10 beginning at 3:00 pm. They will face the Region 20 champion Potomac State College of Keyser, WV. The game will be played at Raritan Valley Community College. The winner of this game advances to the NJCAA National Championship in Port Huron, MI April 20-24.
