CRANFORD, NJ- The Union Women's Basketball team had a strong debut as they defeated the Mercer Vikings 75-39.

The Lady Owl's opened up their season with a convincing victory over Region XIX rival Mercer County Community College. Mya Grimes led the team in scoring and rebounding with 17 points and 12 boards for a double-double. Saja Alston recorded 15 points and Daniella Marmol had 11 points and 10 rebounds. The Owl's next game is an away match-up with the Community College of Philadelphia on Thursday, November 7th.
