BRANCHBURG, NJ - The Union women's basketball team jumped out to a 14 point halftime lead in route to a 79-49 win over Raritan Valley.
Sophomore Yamel Abreu (Elizabeth, NJ) had a double-double on the evening with 21 points and 10 rebounds. She also had six assists. Fellow sophomore Tania Scott (Newark, NJ), not to be outdone, also double-doubled on the night with 13 points and 10 assists.
The win, the Owls 14th straight, improves their record to 19-3 overall on the season. They will now have a week off before they travel to County College of Morris on Thursday, February 7 for a 5 pm start.
