BRYN MAWR, PA - The Union women's basketball team picked up a big region victory on the road with a 56-54 win.

Sophomores Yamel Abreu (Elizabeth, NJ) and Jessica Woods (Linden, NJ) both were in double digits for the Owls.  Abreu scored 13 points, while Woods added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The win improves Union to 14-3 overall on the season.  The Owls return to action on January 17 on the road vs. Rowan Burlington beginning at 6:00 pm.
