Shaniece Wright has been named the Garden State Athletic Conference DII Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending 12/14/2014.  Wright is an athletic guard/forward who can play and defend multiple positions.  She has the ability of attacking the rim and shooting the outside shot.  Her length and athleticism contributes to her averaging 13 rebounds and 11.5 points per game.  Her speed is like no other, making it hard for guards or forwards to get by her.  She is a leader on and off the court, providing her teammates with positive feedback and great energy.  Thus far, Shaniece is the freshman player who has provided the most impact on the Union County College Women's Basketball Team.
