A special congratulations is in order for two of our lacrosse players. The NJCAA Region XIX Lacrosse committee has released the D1 Lacrosse All-Region Team and two Owls were honored this year. 

Dean Gillette, 10, plays on Offense, was this year's captain. He recorded an impressive 20 goals, 9 assists, and 17 Ground Balls. 

When asked about Dean, the coaches said, "Dean was one of the biggest assets to the team. With his impressive stick handling, he was a threat in any position on the field".

Jonathan "JJ" Gillette, 24, plays defense. He recorded 35 caused turnovers, 51 ground balls, 2 assists, and 3 goals.

The coaches agreed when discussing JJ, "JJ, as a team captain was the quarterback of the defense, a solid defender, had great stick handling, and is a solid threat up field. Often covering the best player of the opposing team, he still managed 35 turnovers in 9 games which is quite impressive.

Congratulations to both Dean and JJ for this honor. You both earned the recognition and we are excited to see what you do next season.
