NJCAAE Regional Postseason Recap: OWLS Roll into Two Regional Championships  

Fortnite No Build: 

The Fortnite team were sure to be dancing and celebrating after they clinched their first regional championship in program history. The Owls took on Jackson College and showed why they were the number one seed in the region and sweeping Jackson College 3-0. The Owls go into the National Postseason as the number 2 seed and will take on WSU Tech. The Rest of the bracket will be pictured below.

Call of Duty Gunfight: 

The Call of Duty Gunfight team's perfect season remains intact after sweeping through the regional playoffs. The Owls clinched their Regional Championship by sweeping Pensacola State College 3-0 to clinch their second regional title in as many years. The Owls go into the National Playoffs as the two seed and will be opening their campaign against Marshalltown Community College on 12/11/24. The rest of the bracket will be pictured below

Mario Kart 1 vs 1:  

Santiago Puerto found himself waiting for the winner out of the loser's bracket to begin the regional final. After waiting around Santi got paired with the racer out of Danville Area Community College who just came off a 4-1 win in losers final against Marshalltown Community College. In game one of the grand finals Santi lost in a grueling 7 race match. The racer from Danville let the momentum role into the grand final reset as Santi lost the series 4-1 and finishing runner up in the regions. Santi held his head up high and is looking to redeem his loss next week in the National Post Season. Santi will first play Marshalltown Community College on 12/9/24.
