Union failed to capture their first win of the season against Monroe Express losing 6-5, but definitely had a lot to be proud of for the majority of the game.

Union had a 5-0 lead heading into the 8th inning but unfortunately could not hold on through the 9th.

Javier Alfonso, Bryan Padilla, and Cesar Morillo each collected two hits a piece. Padilla hit his first homerun of the season. Alfonso added a 2-run double.

Starting pitcher Andrew Addesso threw 6 scoreless innings, striking out four, and giving up only five hits.
