Taylor Nelson is a new addition to the team. Joining the Union College team in May 2021 as the Event Coordinator, Taylor quickly showed her value and became Operations Coordinator in October 2021 and has been excelling at the position since day 1.

A New Jersey native, Taylor attended Dominican College where she played guard on the women's basketball team all four years. After graduating with her Bachelors in Social Sciences, Taylor attended Montclair State University to earn her Masters in Sports Administration and Exercise Science. While attending Montclair State, Taylor was part of a Student Athlete Development and Compliance Internship at Seton Hall University Athletics Department. 

Following her love for the sport, Taylor became a basketball coach at Plainfield High School and also trained youth basketball players. 

Maya Moore, Jason Kidd ,and Kevin Durrant were the players Taylor named as her favorite athletes. 

When asked for her life quote, Taylor simply said, "Control what you can control and let God control the rest."
