Wrestling Owls at Bob Quade Cyclone Open

Cranford, NJ - The UCNJ Wrestling Owls delivered another strong showing this weekend at the Bob Quade Cyclone Open, building momentum as the season progresses. Josh Baeza led the way with an impressive performance that earned him a 4th-place finish, continuing to establish himself as a key contributor for the Owls.

Vincent Capone and Chris Gomez also continued their standout starts to the year, both securing top-six placements in their respective weight classes. Their consistency early in the season has been a major boost for UCNJ, with each outing showing growth, poise, and toughness on the mat.

The Bob Quade Cyclone Open provided valuable mid-season experience for the team, offering matchups and opportunities to refine technique. The Wrestling Owls will look to carry this momentum into their next competition as they return to action this Saturday at 9:00 AM for the Nassau Open at Nassau Community College.
