Golfer Patrick Murray Wins Fourth Straight Region XIX Tournament

Flanders, NJ - The UCNJ Golf Team competed in a Region XIX Match on Monday, April 8 at Flanders Valley Golf Course in Flanders, New Jersey.

Sophomore Owl Golfer Patrick Murray fired a round of 69 to win his fourth straight Region XIX Tournament to start his season. Murray’s score of 69 was one of the lowest carded in recent years in Region XIX Golf.

Sophomores Michael Hayeck, Jacob Swann, and Freshman Michael Fernandez also competed for the Owls. Fernandez scored his best round of the season. The Owl team score of 395 was solid enough for the Owls to pick up another two wins on the season.

The Owls next tee it up on Monday, April 15 as we host a match at Ash Brook Golf Course in Scotch Plains, NJ.
