Born and raised in Turkmenistan, Coach Dovlet discovered his passion for soccer at an early age, playing for a local club and developing a strong foundation in the game’s fundamentals. At fifteen, he moved to New York City, where he continued his soccer journey—competing at the high school level before going on to play collegiate soccer at Baruch College. While at Baruch, Coach Dovlet was a key contributor to the men’s soccer program, helping the team capture two CUNYAC championships and earn NCAA tournament appearances.

After college, he remained active in the sport, playing in amateur leagues across New York and New Jersey. In 2020, Coach Dovlet made the transition to coaching, bringing his playing experience and tactical knowledge to the sidelines. He has coached at both the high school and middle school levels, with positions at Hudson Catholic Regional High School and Beloved Community Charter School in Jersey City. He has also led youth teams across New Jersey and New York.

Coach Dovlet takes a holistic approach to player development, focusing not only on technical and tactical skills, but also on character, teamwork, and academic achievement. He holds a USSF D License and is currently pursuing his C License. Coach Dovlet will begin his first season as head coach of the UCNJ Women’s Soccer Team in Fall 2025, and he is excited to build a competitive, united, and inspiring program—both on and off the field.
