Congratulations to Iyanah Hawley of the Union County College Women's Track & Field team who was named a U.S. Track & Field Coaches Association National Athlete of the Week. Iyanah had a remarkable performance at the Stockton Invitational and the Ramapo Invitational this past weekend.

At the Stockton Invitational Iyanah qualified for Nationals in two events at the first meet of the year.  She earned 9^th place in the 400m and placed 5^th in the 400 hurdles.

The second meet of the year Iyanah had a tremendous performance at Ramapo Invitational. 

                200m (27.18) 11th in the Nation

                400m (1:03.11) 9th in the Nation

                400H (1:12.32) 3rd in the Nation

                100H (14.63) 1st in the Nation

Congratulations to Iyanah for having such a strong start to the Track & Field season.  Union County College is proud of her and wishes her the best of luck for the rest of the seasons and at Nationals.
