HILLSIDE, NJ- Men's Soccer triumphs over Raritan Valley in Double OT thriller

The Union County College Owls were victorious in a battle of wills with the Raritan Valley Community College Lions on Tuesday. The Lions opened scoring within the first couple minutes of the match. The Union Owls refused to give up however battling back with goals by Marvin Uzoebo, Jacques Fuentes, and Dominique Denilson ending regulation in a 3-3 stalemate. It took two overtimes for Dominique Denilson to finally net the match deciding goal, being assisted by both Denis Cruz and Jacques Fuentes off of a corner kick. Ian Flores made an incredible eight saves to power Union County through to victory. The Owls play again on Tuesday, September 17th at RCSJ- Gloucester.
