Cranford, NJ - The UCNJ Owls Men’s Basketball Team officially secured the #1 seed in the Region 19 Tournament, marking a significant milestone for the team as they head into postseason. Owls end their regular season with a remarkable 21-4 overall record and an outstanding 17-1 conference record. Owls have solidified their place among the nation’s elite, ranking 9th by the NJCAA.

As the top seed, the Owls will enjoy a much-deserved bye in the first round of the tournament and will face the #8 seed, Atlantic Cape Community College, on Wednesday, February 26th at 6:00 PM. The game will take place at the Harwood Arena at Kean University in Union, NJ, offering fans an exciting opportunity to support the team in what promises to be a exciting matchup.

Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to get their seats and cheer on the Owls as they aim to advance further in the tournament. Doors open at 5:15pm for specators. 

The Owls have had an incredible season, dominating their conference and proving themselves as one of the best teams in the nation. Their impressive ranking and strong regular-season performance have set the stage for an exciting postseason run.
