UCNJ Owls Host Region XIX Match at Ash Brook Golf Course

Scotch Plains, NJ - The UCNJ Golf Team competed in a Region XIX Match on Monday, April 15 at Ash Brook Golf Course in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.

Sophomore Owl Golfer Patrick Murray fired an even par round of 71 to win his fifth straight Region XIX Tournament to start his season. Sophomores Michael Hayeck, Lucas Mincolelli, Jacob Swann, and Freshman Michael Fernandez also competed for the Owls.

The Owl Team score of 380 was the lowest of the season and helped the Owls to pick up 3 wins against Region XIX competition. The Owls next tee it up on Monday, April 22, 2024. They travel to Pitman Golf Course in Sewell, New Jersey for a smaller Region Tournament.
