The Hudson Valley Community College men's lacrosse program (5-6) won its fourth straight game to remain undefeated in the month of April after they defeated Union County 16-14 on Saturday afternoon at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.

The Vikings had a balanced offensive attack going for them as they had four players score at least three goals in the game. They were led by Tai Ryan, who finished the game with a team-high five goals. Matthew Calicchia added four goals along with his three assists to lead the team with seven points. Gavin Breen and Seth Mattice also connected for three goals each. Breen added a pair of assists as well.

Guari Reyes once again had a nice game in goal for Hudson Valley. He faced 32 shots and saved 18.

The Vikings season ends with today's match against Union County. The Vikings started the season with a historic run of top-10 programs to kick off the year. They defeated nationally-ranked Herkimer and jumped into the NJCAA top-10 rankings as well following the key win. The Vikings continued to fight and work hard, resulting in a perfect 4-0 month of April to end the year on a high-note.
