The Roadrunner Women's Soccer closed out the regular GSAC and Region 19 season by blanking visiting Union College, 5-0, on Tuesday, Oct. 17.

The Runners settled the outcome early in the first half as Maura Smith, Deandrea DeFalco and McKinley Cielinski scored goals scored goals for a 3-0 halftime lead. The squad added two more goals in the second half while goalkeeper Lauren Graham proved to be solid in the nets once again.

Coach Stephen Hart's team finished the 2023 campaign with a 7-5 overall record as the Region 19 playoffs loom next. Hart's squad awaits the Region 19 playoff seeding which will determine their first-round opponent.

"We've been very competitive within the region so we have a lot of confidence going into the playoffs," commented Hart.
