CRANFORD N.J. - The Monroe Community College Lady Tribunes Basketball Team travlled to Cranford, NJ to take on the Union County College Owls. MCC would fall to the Owls by a finals score of 99-42.
In the first quarter Union came out strong taking a Ten Point early lead with the score at 21-11. They would then go on into the half with a 42-25 lead and wouldn't look back for the remainder of the contest. For the Tribunes Kalani Thomas was the leading scorer, dropping 14 total points on five of ten shooting from the field. Shariona Blocker was second on the teams totaling eight points and coming up one rebound of a double-double with nine total rebounds. Kamiya Dambrebille added seven points with ten total rebounds, and Cierra Grant added six points in her own right.
