Owls Fights Through a Windy Day at LBI National Golf Course

Little Egg Harbor, NJ - The UCNJ Golf Team competed in a Region XIX Match on Monday, March 25 at LBI National Golf Course in Little Egg Harbor, NJ.

Sophomore Owl Golfer Patrick Murray fired a round of 77 to win the match by 7 strokes. It was a windy and tough day for scoring, but this did not stop Murray from shooting his best round ever in a Region Golf Tournament. Coach Postiglione noted that from his strong drives to excellent putting, Murray was in total control of his golf game. Sophomores Lucas Mincolelli and Jacob Swan competed for the Owls. Also, starting his season was Freshman Michael Fernandez. The Owls next tee it up on Monday, April 1 hosting a match at Galloping Hillf Course in Kenilworth, NJ.
