Kayla Cabrera, Marisa Hill, and Pablo Corte Earn All-Region XIX and All-GSAC Honors

UCNJ Athletics is thrilled to announce that two of our standout soccer players, Kayla Cabrera and Marisa Hill, have been named to the 2024 All-Region XIX and All-GSAC teams for their outstanding performances this season. Their dedication, skill, and teamwork have not only contributed to the success of our program but have also inspired their teammates and peers.
 
Kayla Cabrera, who is set to graduate in Spring 2025, has demonstrated exceptional talent and leadership on the field. Throughout the season, Kayla has been a crucial asset, consistently delivering impressive performances. Her commitment to excellence and sportsmanship exemplifies what it means to be a true athlete. A force in the midfield this season, she plans to  pursue a degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Interior Design while continuing her college soccer career at a four-year university.
 
 
Marisa Hill, a freshman who plans to return for another season with us next year. Her contributions this season have been nothing short of remarkable, showcasing her skill and determination in every match. Marisa’s ability to create opportunities and lead the offense has made her a vital to the team this season. Marisa was name GSAC Player of the Week, back-to-back weeks this season. We can’t wait to see what she will accomplish in the upcoming season.
 
 
Pablo Cortea freshman that has shown true leadership on the field.  A powerful forward that has scored for the Owls throughout the entire season. In the win against Brookdale CC this season, he helped the Owls tie the game with a beautiful goal. The Owls went on to win that game 2-1. In the game against Atlantic Cape, he scored twice to help the Owls seal the deal and win.
 
 
These student-athletes have demonstrated resilience and a passion for the game that has resonated throughtout the entire season. Their hard work has not gone unnoticed, and this recognition is a testament to their incredible effort. Congratulations to Kayla Cabrera, Marisa Hill, and Pablo Corte! GO OWLS!
