Scotch Plains, NJ -  This year's Region XIX Golf Championships was hosted by UCNJ and took place at Ash Brook Golf Course in Scotch Plains, NJ on May 13-14. UCNJ Sophomore Golfer Patrick Murray won the Region XIX Golf Championship for the second year in a row carding two stellar rounds of 73 and 75. 

It was a thriller as Murray needed a playoff hole to defeat County of College of Morris Golfer, Max Mandas. Murray punches his ticket to Nationals. The 2023 NJCAA Division III Men's and Women's Golf Championship will be held in Chautauqua, NY, at the Chautauqua Golf Course from June 4-7, 2024.

Also competing for the Owls at Regional Championships were sophomores Michael Hayeck, Lucas Mincolelli, Jacob Swann, and freshman Michael Fernandez. The Union Golf Team finished in fourth place at the two-day event with a team total of 785.
