Sewell, NJ — The Wrestling Owls are deep into their dual season, and last Tuesday night they took a flight to Gloucester County for a conference showdown against Rowan College of South Jersey.
At 125 pounds, Noah Reyes set the tone early with a dominant major decision to start the night on a high note.
From there, the freshman 1–2 punch of Vincent Capone and Zackaryus Guzman came through in a big way. Capone notched a major decision, and Guzman followed with a gritty, hard-earned fall to say goodnight to the Roadrunners.
The victory pushes UCNJ to 2–0 against GSAC opponents this season.
The Owls will now head down the shore next Saturday January 24, 2026, to West Long Branch as the Owls are set to face Monmouth University Club.
