Owls Tackle Rainy Course in Region Match

Flanders, NJ - UCNJ Golf Team took to the course on Monday, April 14, 2025, competing in a Region XIX regular season match at Flanders Valley Golf Course in Flanders, New Jersey.

Despite extremely wet conditions and a challenging course setup, the Owls posted a team score of 412. Sophomore from Garwood, NJ, Aedan Paredes, led the way for the Owls. Paredes end the day carding a 99. He was joined by teammates sophomore Michael Fernandez, sophomore Brendan Fitzsimmons, freshman John McDonald, and freshman Matt Riggins in the effort.

Head Coach Postiglione praised his team’s performance, noting that the combination of weather, course layout, and difficult pin placements made for a demanding round.

The Owls return to action on Monday, April 21, 2025 to host their next match at Ash Brook Golf Course in Scotch Plains, NJ.
