Crandford, NJ - UCNJ Student-Athletes Excel in the Classroom with NJCAA Academic Honors
UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ is proud to recognize the exceptional academic achievements of its student-athletes for the 2024-2025 academic year. Balancing the demands of college athletics and academics is no small feat, and our Owls continue to rise to the challenge.
NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year
Two of our athletic programs were honored as NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year, awarded to teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher:
- Men’s Volleyball – 3.15 GPA
- Men’s Golf – 3.66 GPA
These programs demonstrated consistent commitment and discipline. UCNJ Men’s Volleyball is the only NJCAA men's volleyball team to reach a GPA above a 3.0, and UCNJ Golf came in third in the nation (NJCAA) with a 3.66 GPA.
