Lady Owls Dominate in Latest Victory Over Salem Community College

Union Women’s Basketball picked up their fifth straight win with a 115-45 victory over Region XIX opponent Salem Community College.  With another strong start, the Owls led 38-4 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back.  The victory was the fifth straight win of the season for the Owls.

Sophomore Ashley Rojas led the team in scoring with 16-points.  She also registered a team high 8-steals in the game.  In the win Freshman Isabella Edwards contributed 15-points, 5-rebounds and 2-steals.  Sophomore Khila Morris and Freshman Gianna Miclis added 14-points each.  Amyah Mars rounded off the list of double-digit scorers with a impressive double-double adding 12-points and 10-rebounds. 

The Owls are set to return to action on Friday, December 1st, as they host Essex County College at the Owls Nest.  Tip-off is set for 7:00pm ET.
