Congratualtions to Union Owls Women's Basektball star freshman, #13 Hellary De Los Santos earns third GSAC honor for another outstanding stretch of games.   On Tuesday, January 14th, the Owls hosted Mercer County Community College in a Region XIX matchup. De Los Santos filled the stat sheet with 24 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.  The Owls returned to action on Thursday, January 16th, against another Region XIX opponent, Middlesex College. De Los Santos recorded another double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while also contributing 2 assists and 4 steals. 

 

Union wrapped up the week on Saturday, January 18th, against the CCBC Catonsville Cardinals. De Los Santos delivered yet another stellar performance, scoring 21 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, and adding 2 assists and 1 steal.  For the week, De Los Santos averaged 18.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.3 steals per game, while shooting an impressive 67% from the floor.
