Cranford, NJ - Ranked #4 per NJCAA rankings, UCNJ Men’s Basketball sophomore standout, Nicolas Acosta, has been named this week’s GSAC Player of the Week - after delivering a string of dominant performances that kept the Owls undefeated. His energy, leadership, and two-way impact continue to set the tone for one of the hottest teams in the region.

Nicolas Acosta delivered another exceptional performance for the UCNJ Owls, maintaining his dominant form in two critical Region 19 matchups. Averaging an impressive 28 points, 19 rebounds, 9 steals, and 4 blocks per game, Acosta played a pivotal role in keeping the Owls undefeated in conference play.

With his contributions, #4 UCNJ extended its perfect record to 8-0 in the region and 9-0 overall, solidifying their position as one of the top teams this season. The Owls look to carry their momentum into the final stretch before the winter break. UCNJ has three games remaining this year, and fans are encouraged to come out and support as the team aims to close out the first half of the season on the road.
