The Union County College Golf Team is Driving for First This Season

The Union County College Golf team is ready for its season. The team looks to improve on its 2021 Runner-Up finish in the Region XIX tournament this year. Coach Marc and the players have all been working on fine details in preparation for this season and look to bring their best to the golf courses this season and bring the championship to Union County College.

The 2022 team is led by returning sophmores Joseph Sapia, Joseph Kaulfers, and Sebastian Salazar. Joseph and Joseph are both graduates of Arthur Johnson High School in Clark. Sapia, our 2022 team captain, and Kaulfers will both be graduating this spring. Sapia will graduate with an Associate In Science degree in Engineering and Kaulfers with an Associate in Science degree in Liberal Studies. Sebastian is a graduate of Alexander Hamilton Preperatory Academy in Elizabeth and will be graduating this spring with an Associates in Science degree in Sport Management. Coach Marc is incredibly proud of these three young golfers.

March 28th – Vineyards National - at Ocean

April 4th – Galloping Hill - at Union

April 11th – Flanders Valley - at Morris

April 18th – Ashbrook - at Union 

April 25th – Volunteer at UCC Foundation Golf Tournament – Fiddlers Elbow

April 27th – GSAC Tournament – Flanders Valley - at Morris

May 2nd and May 3rd – Region XIX Tournament – Ashbrook - at Union
