Union's Dominance Continues with a Resounding 104-53 Victory Over Lackawanna College

In a commanding performance, Union College asserted their dominance with a convincing 104-53 win over Lackawanna College during their visit to Scranton, PA, on Tuesday afternoon. Mirroring their successful season opener, the Owls wasted no time in establishing control, securing a substantial 29-5 lead by the end of the first quarter.

 

A key element of Union’s success was their exceptional teamwork, as they finished with 25 assists on 39 made field goals.  Sophomore standout Khila Morris led the charge with an impressive 25 points, 4 assist and 5 steals.  Sophomore Najla Cecunjanin contributed 17 points, showcasing her versatility with 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.  Ashley Rojas had a solid all-around game, tallying 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. 

 

Notable contributions came from Miyoshi Ellis making a significant impact with 4 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals.

 

Looking ahead, the Owls are set to return to action on Thursday, November 16th, as they host Middlesex College in the Owls Nest.  Tip-off is set for 5:00pm ET.
