MAYS LANDING, NJ- The Lady Owls were victorious by a score of three sets to zero over the ACCC Buccaneers on Friday.
After starting the the season 0-3, the Union Women's Volleyball team has shown their resilience and strength by winning 6 straight, sitting securely above .500. The team heded down to South Jersey for their latest win against the Bucs of Atlantic Cape Community College. Murielle Mason continues her dominance on the offensive end leading her team with 8 kills. She has also proven herself defensively leading the team with 13 digs to lead the squad. Gabriela Azevedo also had a solid outing offensively 6 kills on the day. The team is back in action on Tuesday, September 24, as they have a re-match with Brookdale, the team that handed them their first loss in what was ultimately a 5 set heartbreaker.
