On Monday, September 19, 2016, the Union County College Women's Volleyball Team met with Kingsborough Community College of Brooklyn, NY for their eighth match of the season. The Lady Owls played a dominant game, sweeping Kingsborough CC in all three sets (25-21, 25-17, 25-15), accumulating their fourth win of the season.
Sophomore Captain #7 Giovanna DelSordo recorded 12 digs to go along with a match high of 12 kills. Frehsman #2 Shereen Bartholomew also finished the match with 5 aces and 11 digs.
The Lady Owls return to action on Thursday, September 22 for a regional and conference match at Middlesex County College.
