Union County College sophomore Lauren Buchanan was named Union County College's " Woman of the Year" at the Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Award luncheon held at Seton Hall University on February 3rd. Lauren currently holds a 4.0 GPA all while being a student-athlete, active member in her community and working part-time. Lauren was named to the First team All-Region, First team All-GSAC and Second Team All-East Region team for United Soccer Coaches Association for her stellar season in goal. She also was named to the Region XIX All- Academic team Second team Scholar-All American for United Soccer Coaches Association.
