KANSAS CITY, MO - Sophomore Barbara Ferreira of the Union women's soccer team was named to the United Soccer Coaches Association All-America Team. Ferreira, a midfielder, tallied 21 points in her sophomore campaign including seven goals and seven assists garnering her Second team honors. Ferreira helped lead her team to a third place finish at the NJCAA National tournament and a 15 win season, both firsts for the program. "Barb is a great soccer player and even a better person. She is very deserving of this award for her hard work everyday." commented head coach Angie Correia.
