CRANFORD NJ - The NJCAA released the eight team bracket for the upcoming women's soccer Division III National Championship Tournament. Union received the #6 seed and will face the #3 seed Genesee Cougars of Batavia, NY. This first round match up is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 8th beginning at 4:30 pm EST. The game will be played at Wedgbury Stadium in Rockford, IL. Union finished the season 14-1-1, while Genesee finished the season 17-2-0. Union and Genesee had only one common opponent this season in Ocean County. Union defeated Ocean 10-0, while Genesee defeated Ocean 9-1.
First Time Was In 1984
Union's first and only appearance in the national championship tournament took place in Trenton, NJ when they competed as a Division I program.
