Najee Durant is a third year asistant coach for our Women's Basketball team. Born in Summit, raised in Newark, and currently living in Irvington, Najee is well versed in the talent and game style of our region. Coach Durant is a Union County College graduate, Sports Management, and is currently enrolled at Kean University, earning his Bachelor's in Business Management. Najee is not one to be kept in one box. He plays point guard on the basketball court, plays both Defensive Back and Running Back on the football field, and has been known to dominate on the bowling lanes.

He is a two-time Region XIX Champion Coach, a two-time Union County Champion Coach, and a Wide World of Sports student Athlete.

Outside of Union County College, he is an assistant coach at the Patrick School, AAU head coach at New Heights New York, a personal trainer, and a youth coach and mentor. Najee is a AAU Coach of the month.

He is a proud Lakers and Steelers fan who identifies Kobe Bryant and Derrick Rose as his favorite players.

He gives credit for his accomplishments to his mother, his biggest supporter, and says his favorite quote is "God Built Me To Last."
