Title: Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

A Union County native, Coach Biddulph returned to the UCC women's basketball program in the fall of 2019 and has worked under Coach Marbely Montas for the past three seasons.

During the 2018-2019 season, he served as an assistant coach for the FDU-Teaneck in the NEC.  He was involved with all aspects of the program, including player development, recruitment, scouting, analytics and monitoring of players' academic progress.

Coach Biddulph spent the 2017-18 season with the Siena College Saints as the women’s basketball Director of Operations. Biddulph was involved with all aspects of the program, including scouting reports, game preparation, practice planning and in-game adjustments. Siena finished third in the MAAC, the program’s best regular-season finish in 14 years, and reached the MAAC tournament semifinals.

Prior to Siena, Biddulph coached for two seasons at State Fair Community College in Missouri. In his first season with the Lady Roadrunners, he helped the program to a 22-8 record with the team winning a Region 16 Tournament Championship before falling in the District K Championship. The following season, Biddulph led the team to a 19-9 overall record and a Region 16 Division I semifinal appearance.

Preceding his stint at SFCC, Biddulph spent the 2014-2015 season here as an assistant coach at UCC.  He helped lead the program to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament for the first time. The team finished the regular season with a 27-7 record while claiming a Region XIX Championship (the first in a streak of 6 out of the last 7 region titles) and District O Championship.

Biddulph served as the head girls’ varsity basketball coach at The Patrick School in Elizabeth, New Jersey for the 2013-2014 season. Under Biddulph, the team finished first in their division and made a state sectional semifinal appearance while finishing 20-6.

He also served as an assistant coach from 2008-13 for St. Patrick High School boys’ basketball program. During that period, he coached current NBA players Kyrie Irving and DeAndre' Bembry and former NBA player Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and the program won five county titles and a Tournament of Champions state title, ranking as high as number two in the country.

Coach Biddulph feels grateful to be a part of the Lady Owls staff.  "Coach Montas, Coach Vaughn and Coach Durant are a pleasure to work with. They are outstanding, dedicated coaches with the right priorities. I enjoy the process of collaborating with them to  pursue championships but also, more importantly, preparing our student-athletes to reach their full potential and achieve success both on and off the court. Coach Montas is one of the best coaches in the country and a perfect role model for our players."

Coach Biddulph completed his Masters in Education at Central Methodist University in Missouri and his BA from Haverford College. He enthusiastically supports the important role that community colleges play in the educational system and has great pride for Union College, the alma mater for several members of his family.

He states that the most influential coaches that he has played for are his father and Jim Schmidt. Coach Biddulph resides in Union County with his wife and son.
