BUFFALO, NY- The Union Lady Owls Basketball squad was able to defeat the Erie Community College Kats.

Ashley Phillip was the team leader for the Owls in this match-up, scoring 11 points. Alethea Bearfield was the team leader in not only one, but two categories. She led the team with 5 assists and 8 rebounds respectively. Despite the Owls winning by double digits, this was a well-rounded win in which every player contributed quite equally. The Lady Owls next game will be against Niagara County Community College on Sunday, January 19th.
