CRANFORD, NJ- Brianna Mills of the Union Women's Basketball team was named the Player of the Week after strong performances in a 2-1 week.

After a tough loss to a strong Harford Community College squad, the Lady Owls were in need of someone to step up and lead them back to the winning track. That player turned out to be Brianna Mills. In their next game against Lackawanna College, Mills, who usually takes on the role of a distributor, also shouldered duties as the leading scorer with 26 points. She also led the team in assists with 6 helpers, but this is nothing new. 

The Lady Owl's next game against Bucks County was a more subtle one for Mills, but she was still outstanding, tallying 12 points, 6 steals, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds for what turned out to be one of the most well-rounded performances of the year. Mills will look to build upon her success in 2020, as the Owls next game is on Saturday, January 11th against Rowan College at Burlington County.
