CRANFORD, NJ- The Lady Owls Basketball team was able to overcome an early game slump to beat the Golden Lions.

Samira Sargent was outstanding in this Region XIX match-up, scoring a team high 18 points. Mya Grimes was again strong around the glass, pulling down 13 rebounds, while also adding 17 points (good for second on the team) to complete a double-double. Grimes was not the only Owl to have a double-double, with Sumaya Judd recording one off of 14 points and 10 rebounds. Brianna Mills continued her role as an excellent passer, dishing out 8 assists while also adding 16 points (good for third on the team). The Union Women's Basketball team will look to take flight again on Thursday, December 5th against the County College of Morris.
