Bench Comes Up Big In Union Women's Basketball Victory

CRANFORD, NJ - It was the big contributions from the players off the bench that led Union women's basketball to a 75-54 win over Rowan Burlington.

Sophomore Jessica Washington (Irvington, NJ) led all scorers with 19 points.  She also grabbed six rebounds and had three takeaways.  Sophomore Tiffany Jackson (East Orange, NJ) had a big night producing a double-double with 14 points and 14 boards.  Sophomore Jessica Woods (Linden, NJ) threw in 11 points as well on the evening.

The Owls are the number eight ranked team in the nation for the sixth consecutive week.  They also run their win streak to 13 consecutive games. This evenings win improves Union to 18-3 on the season.  They will travel to Raritan Valley Community College on Tuesday, January 29 for a 5:00 pm tipoff for their next Region XIX match up.
