Union Women's Basketball Too Much for Blue Jays To Handle

CRANFORD, NJ - The Union Owls women's basketball team fed on the Manor Blue Jays in a 103-24 victory.

Sophomore Jessica Washington (Irvington, NJ) had a afternoon for herself.  She poured in 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds.  Sophomores Yamel Abreu (Elizabeth, NJ), Tania Scott (Newark, NJ) and Micaiah Battle (Scotch Plains, NJ) each chipped in double digits with 16 points, 13 points and 11 points respectively.  Kenu Ogbevire (Roselle Park, NJ) added 13 rebounds for the Owls.

The win improves Union to 16-3 overall on the season.  The Owls travel to rival Essex County College on January 22 for a 5:00 pm tipoff.
