DI Harford Too Much for Union Women's Basketball

CRANFORD, NJ - The Union women's basketball team battled throughout the game, but were unable to walk away with a victory losing to visiting Harford 88-71.  Harford controlled the game throughout the evening, with Union only able to cut the score to within two points midway through the second quarter.  Union had three players with a double double on the evening to lead the Owls offense.

Sophomore Yamel Abreu (Elizabeth, NJ) had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead Union.  Sophomore Jessica Woods (Linden, NJ) added 16 points and 11 rebounds, while fellow sophomore teammate Cynthia Ferreira (Harrison, NJ) chipped in 10 points and grabbed 10 boards.

Union returns to action on Tuesday, December 4 when they travel to Mercer County for a 6:00 pm tip.  With the loss the Owls record drops to 5-3 on the season.
