Union Women's Basketball Cruises to Victory at Home

CRANFORD, NJ - The Union women's basketball team ended their two game skid defeating Buck County by a score of 130-8.  

Sophomore Yamel Abreu (Elizabeth, NJ) led all scorers with 22 points.  Sophomore Kenu Ogbevire (Roselle Park, NJ) swished nine points and pulled down nine boards.  Fellow sophomore teammate Jessica Woods (Linden, NJ) dropped in 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds.  Sophomore Micaiah Battle (Scotch Plains, NJ) added 10 points, six assists along with 5 rebounds.   Freshman Cinderella Hamilton (East Orange, NJ) tossed in six points and has six steals in the victory.  Freshman Terrae Lewis (Jersey City, NJ) knocked down 12 points, snagged five rebounds and four steals.

The win improves Union's record to 4-2 on the season.  The Owls return to action at home on Tuesday, November 20 as they host County College of Morris beginning at 5:00 pm.
