CRANFORD, NJ - The main entrance of Union County College's Cranford Campus was filled with dozens of costumed kids hungry for candy at an early Halloween event, hosted by the Men's and Women's Basketball Team.The community event to kick off the start of their 2018-19 season was free and open to the public. Both teams can be seen walking about the crowd handing out candy and their respective schedules for the upcoming season. The festivities also included games, a live DJ, UCC's own Coach Jerry Henderson, and some impromptu dance tutorials by the players. "It was great to interact with the surrounding community. I believe we've made some new fans both young and old." commented women's head coach Marbely Montas.
