Union Is Part Of The 2016 Women's Basketball Hall Of Fame “Ring of Honor”

Union County College is extremely proud of Zhane Robinson, a Women's Basketball alumni who just recently had her jersey hung in the "Ring of Honor" at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, TN. The "Ring of Honor" consists of over 100 jerseys that recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of the nation's best high school and collegiate players.

Players are selected to the "Ring of Honor" at the hall of fame after receiving special honors from the past season.  Throughout the 2014-15 regular season Zhane missed the first eight games due to a medical injury but fought back to be named the Garden State Athletic Conference Player of the Week. Throughout an outstanding post season play, Zhane was named MVP of the NJCAA DII Region XIX Championship game after her team defeated Lackawanna College 69-46.  She was also an imperative team player and leader for the Lady Owls during their return to the National Tournament.  Zhane concluded her playing career at Union County College by earning an elite spot as the NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball All-American 1st Team.
