LOGAN, NJ - Jose Alvarez led the harrier Owl's on Saturday, October 19, at the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle.
Alvarez completed the rough 8,000 meter (5 mile) course in 35:37; finishing in 152nd place.
Dillon Dering was second for the Owls (36:08, 154th place), followed by Josh Fitts (38.59, 158th place), Aaron McGriff (39:17, 160th place) and Wilfried Dake (40:45, 162nd place). Dering, Fitts, McGriff and Dake all achieved new personal best times.
The men's and women's cross country teams travels to Delaware next for the NJCAA Region 19 Cross Country Championships on October 26.
